Ask anybody from New York what the state bird is and half of them will say pigeon. It is not. Nobody cares. This one is standing on a wire holding a slice bigger than its own head, halo included, and that is about as accurate a portrait of the city as we could manage.
Built on a five panel cotton twill body with a flat, structured front and a pre-curved brim. The unstructured back panels give it a relaxed shape that sits close instead of sitting high, and the snapback closure means it fits whoever grabs it.
The pigeon is fully embroidered, not printed. Every color is stitched into the panel, which means the graphic has real texture to it and will not crack, peel, or fade the way a print eventually does. It is the slower, more expensive way to decorate a hat and it is the reason this one will still look right in five years.
The khaki body was picked to let the artwork run warm. Cream, teal and burnt orange stitched into neutral twill, with enough detail in the wings and the crust that people will get close enough to look.
This is part of the New Quirk City drop, a limited run commemorating our takeover of New York for NFT NYC 2026. Five days on the site, then it closes.

How to Wear It
Match the Drop
Wear it with either Quirk Pizza Club Tee to run the theme top to bottom, or with a Statue of Liberty Tee so the cap picks up the pigeon already in the back print.
Let It Be the Color
Keep the fit neutral with black or washed denim and a plain tee, then let the front panel do all the work.
Break It In
The twill softens with wear. Bend the brim how you like it early and it will hold that shape.
