Who doesn’t like to smell good? Exactly, nobody! I’ve been needing to stock up on some new scents but kept putting that off (nothing new there!).
And then something wonderful happened! I received an invitation to partner with It’s My Hair! Magazine and The Body Shop at Lenox Square Mall in Atlanta. The store was celebrating their grand reopening on Saturday and the place looked great. And they had perfect selfie lighting throughout the store so everyone took plenty of pics.
The Body Shop was promoting the release of their new line Spa of the World: Escapism Starts at Home. I purchased the Hawaiian Kukui body cream from the collection and it smells ah-may-zing.
But, did you know that The Body Shop sells more than just skin care products? Well, honey, I didn’t! I learned that they have make up, hair products, nail polish and they do in store facials for you to test products before buying them.
Duh, of course I got one! Touré was very knowledgeable about the store’s products and what would work for different skin types. He asked detailed questions about my skincare regimen – and I got my hand popped a few times for not having a good one. But I have my new products and I’m ready to be better!
I can tell that I’m genuinely happy here from that gummy smile! Lol. What can I say, we’re both Libras so we just CLICKED.
If you want to try the new collection or even the old ones, The Body Shop is currently offering the following promotions:
-Free samples with any purchase
-Buy 3 items, get 3 free
-But 2 items, get 1 free (but really go for the offer above, it’s worth it!)
-Complimentary mega shower gel with $60 purchase or regular sized shower gel with $35 purchase
-3 for $18 nail polish
-Double membership discount when you purchase something from the Spa of the World collection
-Multiple free shipping offers for online purchases
So far I’ve tried:
-Honeymania Bubble Bath Melt (really thick and luxurious. Endless bubbles!)
-Satsuma Body Polish (exfoliation gentle enough for daily use, the scent lingered all day in my bedroom & bathroom)
-Shea Shower Cream (creamy and rich lather)
-Shea Body Butter (smooth and doesn’t leave that “heavy” feel on the skin)

I’m excited to try those tea tree products on my face next. I know Touré would be so proud!
So many guests came out to The Body Shop on Saturday and it really felt like a VIP party. Everyone was in a great mood and was happy to flick it up! One of those guests happened to be Momma Dee from VH1 Love and Hip Hop Atlanta. She was so cool and down to Earth. Not to mention gorgeous!
Have you tried any of The Body Shop’s products? What’s your favorite?
